My goodness.
Can a boy get an update?

Per usual, Mom has proven she is not a serious blogger.
We went for my 16 month check-up and found out that I've finally left the 90th percentile on weight.
I was really proud, but does she let anyone know? No.
So, once again, I've taken it upon myself to give you a quick run down.
My (not so) recent stats are as follows:
28 lbs (probably 30 now) - 87%
33 inches - 90%
and, because you're all wondering,
my head circumference is 48 3/4 centimeters - 85%
My folks think I am so smart. I'm starting to get better with my puzzles.
I can match them up really well and am starting to get the hang of moving the shape to get it to fit.
I mostly try and smash it in as hard as I can, but this new approach is good too.
I love to read and keep a fairly consistent reading list that I like to roll through each day.

Mom loves the Veggie Tales book about how God makes us all special.
She and Dad like reading with an accent when they talk about zee French Peas and Madame Blueberry.
To be honest, it gets old.

But, I can't help but love them...I still copy everything they do.
Mom was confused why I was pretending to use her hairspray on her legs,
but then I started rubbing it in and she finally realized that I was pretending to apply sunscreen.
Obviously.
And whenever anyone is brushing their teeth, I insist on brushing mine too.

Dental hygiene is very important to me...and the toothpaste is delicious.
I love to play catch. I made Mom play for a solid 3 hours last weekend. It's so fun!!
I throw so hard and love watching her duck. She's such a girl.
I've become quite the talker. Current vocabulary includes:
thank you
please
piggy, duck, dog
bee/bug (unsure which)
water
mine
ball
school
momma & dad
papa & other versions that sound like grandpa
no
no
uh oh
ewww
more
cheese
bye & bu-bye
Signing includes:
milk
sorry
thank you
all done
more
please
I like to wave and say "bye" all the time. Mom was leaving the other day, and I got all excited and told Dad bye and waved like crazy thinking I was leaving too. I had a slight meltdown when I discovered I had to stay. I also say "bye" when someone flushes the toilet, throws away trash, or even when I leave the plants and flowers to go back inside.
I don't quite understand the meaning of "uh oh". I drop my food on purpose and then say "uh oh".
I now say "ewww" all the time. Especially when I have food on my hands. I make Mom and Dad wipe them off several times while I eat.
I finally got my bottom molars. They have been annoying me for weeks!
So happy to have them, they help quite a bit with my old hobby.
And I still love that old hobby, eating is the best.

Mom doesn't think I can eat off her plate much longer...she says I steal too much of her food.
Still love milk, fruit (especially nanners), and cheese. Plus, I'm starting to enjoy meat a bit more.
Still have my pacifier.
I'm a bit embarrassed, but I just love that thing.
I don't use it at daycare, but go straight for the drawer to get it when I get home.
Mom and Dad keep saying they are going to get brave and throw them all away.
Paci has been a good friend to us all, so we'll see...
I like to run everywhere...always on the go. Never slow down.
When I get tired, I get really silly and everything seems so funny. Whenever I lay my head down, they know I'm ready to head to bed. I'm not sure why they even ask if I'm ready for bed. I say no, but most the time, they still take me. Hopefully Mom got some pointers on this. She just went to discipline training at my school last week.
So, I think that hits the high points. Probably more information than you wanted, but who knows when Mom will get around to this next? She had old pictures piling up.
Yesterday, I decided to help her out. I took a nice long nap and let her get caught up...
